The annual club rallies are shown below; for the exact dates, please see the calendar or newsletters.

COWES RALLY – APRIL

Normally held in April as the first shakedown cruise. This has traditionally been at Shephard’s Wharf Marina with a dinner venue arranged by the rally coordinator. This rally is close to Cowes’ high street, so there are plenty of opportunities to explore and shop over the weekend.

LYMINGTON TOWN QUAY RALLY – MAY

Normally held in May using the Lymington Town Quay. The Lymington Town Quay is a lovely location right in the heart of the town with very good facilities. We will arrive on Friday afternoon and will have impromptu social gatherings. The rally coordinator will arrange a meal on Saturday evening. The cobbles can be a challenge, but it’s a very sociable venue

YARMOUTH RALLY – JUNE

Yarmouth Rally is another marina with excellent facilities and good shoreside options, including hiking to the Needles! This is a three-day rally with arrival on Friday; there are two evenings with social opportunities. Full details will be circulated to attending members.

BEMBRIDGE RALLY – JULY

Our rally to Bembridge is in July but often on weekdays – not ideal for everyone. Still, Bembridge is such a popular destination that we are limited to when we can arrange a rally. We arrive at this sociable marina on Wednesday. A nice shoreside bar and seating area make for great events, and on Thursday night we will have use of all the BBQs for our own event. Bembridge is a great challenge for your navigation skills when entering and leaving the harbour – enjoy!

BEAULIEU RALLY – SEPTEMBER

A slow meander up to Beaulieu is our destination for September. This will be a Friday-to-Sunday Rally. A lovely venue, with very good facilities and a shoreside space for socialising, with a pop-up bar and food truck on Fridays and Saturdays, as well as the local hostelry.

Please note that members must normally book their own berths for the Rallies. The Bembridge Rally may have additional requirements, as we have to pre-book the shoreside BBQ area.

EAST COWES, GOSPORT, PORT SOLENT AND SOUTHSEA
These marinas are now all part of the Premier Marina network, and as part of your Premier Advantage benefits, free night stays are possible at these marinas – impromptu rallies among members are possible for these venues.

FUTURE RALLIES
The expansion of Premier Marinas over the last 24 months has enabled berth holders to use their free overnight allocation at a larger number of marinas, and the club would like some feedback where possible

• Do any of the ‘new’ Premier marinas lend themselves to being a good destination for a future rally by members?
• Did you feel they could host a rally and have a good social environment?

These marinas would include Haslar, East Cowes, Weymouth, Portland, (Deacons)

The club has arranged rallies to marinas at Gosport, Port Solent, Southsea and Chichester in the past.
